Vinayagar Chaturthi Festival was celebrated for the last two days in Theni district. During this celebration Theni MP OP Ravindranath Kumar participated in a procession of Lord Ganesha statue organized by Hindu Munnani party in Chinnamanur area.
Ravindranath Kumar, who appeared on stage wearing a saffron towel said, “It took some time for me to come here as I went to attend a railways department meeting in Trichy. I have also requested the Parliament to fast track the work of Then district’s Bodi – Madurai broad gauge project and to implement the Dindigul – Lower Camp railway project.
Last year, I inaugurated the Ganesh Chaturthi procession at the same place. now, I have inaugurated this procession as a Member of Parliament. When I spoke last year, I told that Modi would become the Prime Minister again. Likewise, he has become the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister is working to transform India as a superpower. We must all work together to create a powerful new India. We are Hindus first and then comes the other things.”
This open talk about the Hindu identity from the ADMK MP can be seen as a new transformation in Tamil Nadu politics.
